Thirty Seconds To Mars tore the roof off the MGM Grand Garden Arena at the iHeartRadio Music Festival!
Frontman Jared Leto came out in an all-black feathered coat, representing something along the lines of a dark angel of rock, starting off the set by shouting "we are not a pop band!"
The band kicked things off with an intimate rendition of Rihanna's "Stay," easily winning over the multi-genre crowd. Moving on to a powerful live version of their latest single, "City of Angels," complete with Shannon Leto's masked army of drummers. To make things even more grand, a slew of colorful neon balloons were let loose into the crowd, as the band continued to plow through the track.
Later, Jared Leto carried on with the audience participation and invited fans onto the stage for their title track off their new album, 'Love Lust Faith + Dreams.' The screaming fans began to wave in unison as the song's music video played in the background. Leto then asked the crowd to "get down real low," immediately after asking them to jump up from their seats, as confetti rained down in the arena!
Does it get any more epic with Thirty Seconds To Mars? They'll be one tough act to follow here at the iHeartRadio Music Festival!
