Flood Warning for Hudson River at Troy

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Hudson River at Troy.

The river is expected to be above flood stage Wednesday until last Thursday night.

Here's the latest advisory:

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR THE HUDSON RIVER AT TROY.

* FROM LATE TONIGHT UNTIL LATE THURSDAY NIGHT.

* AT 11 AM TUESDAY THE STAGE WAS...19.5 FEET.

* FLOOD STAGE IS 21.5 FEET.

* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.

* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO REACH FLOOD STAGE BY 3 AM WEDNESDAY AND FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 22.9 FEET AROUND 2 PM WEDNESDAY. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE AFTER 6 PM THURSDAY.

* IMPACT...AT 23 FEET...WATER REACHES STREETS IN WATERFORD VILLAGE AND MATSONS SHIPYARD ON VAN SCHIAK ISLAND. SOME BASEMENTS FLOOD.
