The Troy Police Special Operations Unit seized a major drug delivery from downstate and put two dealers behind bars, police said.
Detectives learned of a large delivery of crack cocaine so on Monday, Oct. 7 around 1:00 p.m., they kept track of the Hoosick Street corridor. Police said that they spotted an SUV at Hoosick and 13th Street heading into the Troy Plaza parking lot. They watched the 2002 GMC Yukon and then the Emergency Response Team moved in, finding over 100 grams of crack cocaine with a street value of over $11,000.
Henry Edwards, 39, of the Bronx was arrested and charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance (1st Degree) and Loitering; Sean Stewart, 34, of the Bronx was arrested and charged with Conspiracy (2nd degree) and Loitering.
