Raid Nets 5 in Amsterdam

Just before six this morning, a raid in the city of Amsterdam netted five arrests.
Authorities say they hit several spots and found cocaine, crack, cash and pills.

Michael QuinonesMichael Quinones, 28, of Grove St., is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance, for possessing nearly an ounce of powder and crack cocaine, had approximately $3,200 cash plus various prescription pills.

 

 

 

 

Andrew JosephAndrew Joseph, 34, of Morris St., is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance for cocaine sales.

 

 

 

 

 

Beverly SingletaryBeverly Singletary, 48, of Woodrow Rd., is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance for crack cocaine sales.

 

 

 

 

Pedro RosadoPedro Rosado, 20, of Crane St., is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance for crack cocaine sales.

 

 

 

 

Michelle AbatecolaMichelle Abatecola, 41, of Lincoln Ave., is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance for crack cocaine sales.

All were held for arraignment in Amsterdam City court before Hon. Howard Aison this morning. Assisting in the investigation was Montgomery County District Attorney James Conboy. Amsterdam P.D. in conjunction with the NYSP Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, the APD/Montgomery Co. Sheriff’s Dept. Regional SWAT team and the Montgomery Co. Sheriff’s Dept. were involved.
