First Niagara Branch in Troy is robbed

"No one will get hurt." That's what a teller at the First Niagara Bank on Third Street in Troy says she was facing Monday morning, with a demand to hand over the cash. Now Troy Police are releasing a surveillance photo of the suspect, hoping someone will recognize the woman and contact them.

In addition to the green hoodie, the woman had on black runner type pants with a white stripe down the side.

No weapon was displayed in the 11:06 a.m. robbery, and police say aside from the note, the use of a weapon was not threatened. Anyone recognizing the suspect is urged to call Troy Detectives at 270-4426 or 911.
