Albany County’s Division of Finance office will be open extended hours in conjunction with “Instant Admit Days” sponsored by Schenectady County Community College.
The college will begin offering classes at the Albany County Office building at 112 State Street in January of 2014.
All students who are residents of the Albany County must obtain the Certificate of Residence before registering for classes to ensure that they are charged the proper tuition. The applicant must prove that they have resided in Albany County for the six months prior to application.
SCCC is holding the first of three admission sessions on Tuesday, November 19 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Additional sessions will be held on December 9, from 5 – 7 p.m. and December 18 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. The Finance Department will be open to assist students in obtaining a Certificate of Residence to enroll for classes at SCCC’s Albany County extension site.
